How to Apply Passport Online



To eliminate long queues formed by walk-in applicants, the Department of Foreign Affairs has adopted the DFA appointment system wherein passport applicants must first set an appointment before going to the DFA. Applicants will not be admitted at the entrance gate without valid appointment and application forms. Walk-in applicants will no longer be entertained except for emergency situations. As the applicants will be pre-processed using the information given online, the procedure in the DFA is expected to take 30 minutes or less. Applicants are no longer required to bring photographs since they will have their pictures taken using ePassport data capturing machines. Below is the procedure on how to apply passport online: 


2. Type the two words asked in the reCaptcha and click the "start" button


3. Fill-out the online application form carefully and click "submit" button.

4. Take note of the requirements and click "continue".

5. Choose an appointment DATE and TIME.

5. Check your email for your reference number, appointment date and a link to print your application form. Print your digital application form in a long bond paper. Do not sign it yet. You need to sign it in the presence with the presence of a DFA officer in the processing window. 

6. On your appointment date, proceed to the DFA Consular Office located at ASEANA Business Park, Bradco Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Paranaque City. Be at the DFA Consular Office 30 minutes before your scheduled time. Early/Late comers will not be entertained. Bring your printed application form. Photocopy all the necessary documents. Applicants will not be processed if they do not have complete set of photocopies of their documents.  

7. Present your printed application form to the Appointment Counter.

8. Get your queue number at the Information Counter and sit on the waiting section of the Processing Area. Wait for your queue number to appear on the monitor indicating what processing window you will go to.

9. After processing, proceed to the Passport Enrollment Section located at the 2nd Floor and pay the applicable passport processing fees.

10 After payment, proceed to the Encoding Section for data capturing.

11. After the Encoding Section, you can have your new passport released and delivered to your home without having to return to the DFA on the release date (optional). If availing of the delivery, proceed to the Delivery Counter to pay for delivery fee. 

PASSPORT FEES
Regular processing: Php950.00 (25 working days)

Rush processing: Php1,200.00 (15 working days)

An additional fee of Php 200.00 will be charged for processing of Lost Passports if it is still valid.

NOTE: All passport applicants scheduled for appearance must appear physically at the DFA at the date and time of their scheduled personal appearance for data and image capturing. This applies to all passport applicants, aging from 0 years old onwards. DFA is strict about the personal appearance system, absolutely no chaperone allowed for passport applicants aging 18 years old onwards.
